It is compatible with delicate light flavors of fishes, seafood, veal and poultry. It is commonly served chilled. Possible choices are rhine, chardonnay and frascati. Sparkling wines like champagne are also best either before, during or after meals. Sweet dessert wine is also an option for serving desserts. Cream sherry and marsala are popular examples.
